Sopexa had conducted the first-ever road show in India in October from 23-28, 2009 in Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai respectively on behalf of the Bordeaux Wine School (co-financed by the European Union).

The objective was to recruit potential candidates for the Bordeaux Wine Accreditation Course in France. Sanjay Menon, a well known wine importer in India who ranked in the Decanter power list 2009 and Rahul Dua restaurant manager at the Taj Hotel Bengaluru have been selected as candidates to attend a week long accreditation course. Upon successful completion, they will become the first official Bordeaux Wine educators in India, and will be eligible to conduct training session for Bordeaux wines.
